What is VVCU?: Visitacion Valley Community Unity is neighborhood based membership group based in Visitacion Valley. 

Why Membership? VVCU views membership as an investment in Visitacion Valley. Membership fosters ownership and conveys a level of commitment. 

How Much is the Membership Fee? General Membership fee for an inviduals resident of Visitacion Valley is $5. Visitacion Valley household, $10. 

How is VVCU Organized? VVCU has a Steering Committee and General Memberships. The Steering Committee includes residents and representatives of Community Based Organizations, Neighborhood Groups and Associations. 

The Steering Committee meets at least once per month to share information, discuss relevant issues, plan events and activities for the General Members. 

Is VVCU a Political Group? No. VVCU will never support or endorse Ballot Measures of Political Candidates.

How often does VVCU meet?

What type of Member Only Events?. VVCU has regularly scheduled election related forums that brought candidates for various elected office to the community. These will always be open to all. However, VVCU will schedule additional small group meeting where residents can ask questions meet and ask question in a smaller informal settings. Will have several Field Trips …..

How will my fees be used?  The nominal membership fee is used to provide materials, equipment, printing, postage, etc., for VVCU activities. 

Qualifications. 

All Visitacion Valley residents and household who agree and support VVCU’s Mission and Vision, and comply with these guidelines are welcome into general membership.
