Mission Statement.
Visitacion Valley Community Unity’s mission is to help Visitacion Valley’s residents people and groups come together, work together, and stand together in unity to improve quality of life in Visitacion Valley.
MEMBERSHIP
Qualifications.
All Individuals and organizations are welcome into general membership, who agree and support VVCU mission and vision, and comply with these guidelines.
Annual Fees.
Organizational Members that provide services within Visitacion Valley $75. Organizational Members that provide no services within Visitacion Valley – $99. Individual members that reside outside of Visitacion Valley – $10. Visitacion Valley resident members – $5.
Member Representatives.
Representatives must be of the organizational member’s senior staff or a named designee who is authorized to act on organization’s behalf.
PARTICIPATION.
Meetings. Member organizations are expected to attend at least 8 of the10 schedule
STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT
(General Membership)
By joining Visitacion Valley Community as a General Member I agree to:
- Support Visitacion Valley Community Unity’s mission to help Visitacion Valley’s people-groups come together, work together, and stand together in unity to change social policy, increase educational standards, improve financial opportunity and stabilize families – “We’re Better Together”;
- Pay annual membership fee (all checks payable to Liberation House, Inc ., as fiscal agent for VVCU; and
- Support the various VVCU activities and events, with donations, outreach to constituency, volunteers and a booth, as appropriate.
Withdrawal from membership may be made at any time with notice to any member of the Steering Committee.
